The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters today announced the UK dates of the Harlem Globetrotters: Rivalry Tour, part of their 2027 world tour, with five arena games in February and March. The tour opens at the Brighton Centre on Wednesday 24 February and continues to Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena, Leeds’ First Direct Bank Arena and the Bournemouth International Centre, before finishing at OVO Arena Wembley on Tuesday 2 March.
For 2027, the Washington Generals are joined by a new lineup of rival teams, each out to prove that this is the year the Globetrotters finally meet their match. The Rivalry Tour introduces five new challenges into every game, adding fresh stakes and new chances for the rivals to make their move, while every result counts towards a season-long tally of Rivalry Points and standings that builds across the tour.

The Rivalry Tour is an all-new show for 2027, with new rivals, new challenges and real stakes. The Washington Generals and a fresh lineup of challengers are out to prove that this is the year the Harlem Globetrotters may have finally met their match, with five challenges built into every game, giving the rivals more chances to make their move. Every result earns Rivalry Points that count towards the season-long standings.
Fans are part of it too! During the game, the crowd helps decide the challenges, and any fan in the building could be pulled onto the court. Doors open with a free pre-game tip-off party for everyone in the arena. For those who want to get closer still, a new Ultimate Fan Pass and new MVP Court Pass upgrades are available for all dates.
Promoters Triple A commented: “Last year the Globetrotters celebrated their 100th anniversary with UK audiences, and the Rivalry Tour opens a new chapter. Seventy-five years after the Washington Generals first stepped onto the court against them, the Globetrotters now face a whole lineup of rivals, with new challenges in every game and the crowd helping to decide what happens. It is a different show from anything UK fans have seen before, and we cannot wait to bring it to Brighton, Liverpool, Leeds, Bournemouth and London.”
The Globetrotters have played basketball their own way for more than 100 years, a tradition handed down from Curly, Meadowlark, Goose and Sweet Lou to today’s roster, which includes Hammer, Thunder, Torch, Wham, Cheese, Hot Shot and Ace.
