VUDU, 17 Warwick Street, Worthing, BN11 3DF

VUDU cocktail bar and restaurant in Worthing serves up a bottomless brunch with indulgent food, playful cocktails, gorgeous decor and relaxed vibes.

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with smiles and warmth from VUDU’s staff including the ever-attentive General Manager Harry.

The bottomless brunch offers 90 minutes of unlimited drinks and a dish of your choice from a tempting set menu. We appreciated that we were asked when we’d like our food to arrive, which gave us the chance to enjoy our drinks without feeling rushed.

For food, we chose the Full English Breakfast and the Bulgogi Beef Burger. The Full English came with butcher’s sausage, smoked bacon, fried egg, hash brown, grilled tomato, mushrooms, baked beans and toast. It was a satisfying, hearty plate with particularly flavourful sausage and bacon.

The burger was also delicious with a juicy Korean-marinated beef patty, melted cheddar and crispy smoked bacon inside a soft brioche bun. Served with perfectly crisp fries, it was rich, filling and well presented.

Drinks-wise, there was a good variety to choose from, including prosecco, lager, cocktails and soft drinks. We started with a classic Mimosa before moving on to the VUDU Sunrise (peach liquor, cranberry, orange and lemonade) and Coconut Breeze (coconut liquor, pineapple and lemonade). Both were well balanced and refreshingly fruity, ideal for sunny day sipping. The bar staff were quick to refill our glasses without prompting, which really added to the experience.

The highlight though was the showstopping VUDU You cocktail. Made with Absolut Vanilla vodka, framboise liquor, raspberry, pineapple and foamer, it arrived with a prosecco shot on the side and plenty of theatrical smoke. It was a brilliant bit of drama that didn’t just look good but tasted amazing too.

Music played throughout but never too loudly, meaning we could chat easily without shouting. The whole place had an effortlessly cool feel and never felt too busy or chaotic. Everything was clean, well presented and thoughtfully laid out.

The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between stylish and informal. It’s got that fun, contemporary edge without ever feeling over the top. Even the bathrooms were surprisingly well designed, continuing the lush foliage theme. There’s also a photobooth tucked away, which is a nice touch if you fancy a souvenir from your visit.

Overall, the VUDU bottomless brunch is a great way to spend a leisurely afternoon in Worthing. Friendly service, great food, and more than a few memorable cocktails make it worth a visit.
VUDU’s website states it’s ‘unofficially the best bottomless brunch in Worthing.’ But we think it’s time to make that official.
