Review: Globalls Brighton

Globalls – 1-5, The Village, The Waterfront, Brighton Marina, BN2 5WA

Globalls at Brighton Marina is becoming a Brighton staple with its iconic, neon-lit crazy golf courses, carnival games and UV cocktail bar so we paid them a visit to try out their date night package.

The Globalls date night package included a round of 12-hole crazy golf, carnival games, a slushtail each and light-up glasses to help you look the part.

We choose to play Zootopia, the newest course there. Everything was glowing under UV lights, from giant elephants and gorillas to bright, disco-loving flamingos.

The holes had different challenges, some needing a bit of luck and others a very steady hand. The 12 holes were challenging and included twists and turns, tunnels, hills and trick shots, making for a fun and unpredictable game.

Depending on skill level and how busy it is, the course takes between 30 minutes to an hour. Zootopia is quite a challenging course and is adult only from midday on Saturdays. During the rest of the week, under-16s must be with an adult.

After crazy golf, we played the Carnival Games which were a fun way to keep the competition going.

There were classic games like ring toss, balloon pop, hook-a-duck and even limbo. Playing against each other made it even better. It felt just like being at a traditional fairground, only everything was glowing and looked incredibly photogenic.

The different games tested skill and patience with some being frustratingly difficult and others hilariously easy. The fast-paced energy made it hard to stop playing.

One of the standout moments of the night was the sheer amount of laughter. Whether it was a ridiculously bad golf shot or missing an easy ring toss, we found ourselves constantly cracking up.

The venue had a laid-back, welcoming vibe and it never felt rushed or overcrowded. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The slushtails were a nice touch, giving a refreshing break in between activities. In tall palm tree cups, they perfectly suited the casual and playful atmosphere and were available with or without alcohol.

Overall, it was a fantastic way to spend a date night. Whether it’s for a date, a group outing, time with family or just something a bit different, Globalls is definitely worth a visit.
