Get ready for chills in Brighton in October 2025 as 2:22 A Ghost Story, the West End’s supernatural thriller, brings its spine-tingling tale to Theatre Royal Brighton from Monday 6th October to Saturday 11th October 2025.
After three years of packed houses in London and twelve global productions, 2:22 A Ghost Story has captivated over a million theatre-goers in 17 countries. Written by Danny Robins, the mind behind BBC’s Uncanny, and directed by Matthew Dunster, this play dives deep into the paranormal with a modern twist. It’s a suspense-filled evening where secrets are exposed and belief in the unknown gets tested.
The story follows Jenny, who’s certain something or someone is haunting her home, while her sceptical husband Sam dismisses her fears. When friends Lauren and Ben join them for dinner, tension builds and the debate over what’s real and what’s imagined hits a boiling point. Are they alone or is there something more sinister waiting for them at 2:22?
Described as “a slick, chilling romp” by The Guardian and “a modern classic” by the Sunday Times, the show blends sharp dialogue, clever set design by Anna Fleischle, eerie soundscapes by Ian Dickinson and haunting illusions by Chris Fisher. With a list of former stars like Lily Allen, James Buckley, Sophia Bush, Cheryl Tweedy, Jake Wood and Tom Felton, 2:22 A Ghost Story has been drawing big names and even bigger audiences since its debut.
