Review: Buff Bingo Bottomless Drag Brunch

Fabulous Beyond’s Buff Bingo Bottomless Drag Brunch at Revolution, Brighton

The Buff Bingo Bottomless Drag Brunch in Brighton was quite the spectacle, combining live entertainment, outrageous fun, tasty food and a bottomless drinks package into one memorable afternoon.

Hosted at Revolution on West Street, it kicked off around midday when guests were led to their reserved booths and prepped for a wild ride. From the moment you walked in, the vibe was set with disco lights and a playlist filled with camp pop anthems, creating a light-hearted, party-ready atmosphere.

The drag queen host, Lydia L’Scabies, self-confessed queen flea and Brighton Bimbo, really knew how to work a room, engaging each table with her quick wit, cheeky humour and infectious energy. She set the tone for what was to come. This brunch is not for the shy or easily offended. Expect plenty of laughs and banter, especially when Lydia’s calling the shots, quite literally, as the drinks start flowing.

The food was simple yet satisfying. Burgers were the main event with options for meat-eaters (beef and chicken) and plant-based diners. Fries and coleslaw came alongside, and while the dishes weren’t fancy, they hit the spot. After all, some sustenance was needed before the real bottomless experience kicked in, with free-flowing drinks being served from 1pm to 2.30pm.

Whether you’re a fan of cocktails, prosecco, beer or prefer a soft drink, the friendly butlers in the buff were quick to refill glasses. With a raise of the empty jug or bottle, they were there with the next round, ensuring the drinks kept coming without any hassle.

The entertainment was a whirlwind of drag performances, games and, of course, bingo. Lydia L’Scabies brought her A-game with hilarious, risque commentary, keeping the energy high. The bingo itself is not your usual quiet affair. Expect jokes, filthy innuendo and a lot of noise. The prizes were just as wild with rewards ranging from lap dances from the butlers to £200 vouchers, adding a competitive edge to the afternoon.

The butlers themselves are part of the attraction. Their cheeky, playful attitude brought another layer of fun to the event. And weren’t just there to serve drinks, they were part of the entertainment. Whether it was a quick chat, helping out with a game, joining in on the laughs or providing a very cheeky (ahem!) view, they kept the mood light-hearted and added to the overall party feel.

One of the afternoon’s highlights was the table dance-off which got everyone involved. Each table sent a representative to battle it out on the dance floor and things got hilariously out of hand. There was a lot of enthusiasm, some serious moves (and some not so serious ones), making it one of the brunch’s funniest moments with squeals of excitement from the crowd.

The event wound down around 4pm but there was still time to snap a few photos, finish the drinks and enjoy a final dance before heading out. It’s clear that the Buff Bingo Bottomless Drag Brunch in Brighton from Fabulous Beyond is perfect for those looking for a lively, slightly chaotic day out, ideal for birthdays, hen parties or any celebration where fun and a bit of outrageousness are the order of the day. Bingo, bubbles, butlers in the buff and burgers, what more could a cheeky group ask for?

This event is packed with laughs, energy and more than a few surprises, leaving guests buzzing long after it’s over.
