The iconic Rocky Horror Show is making its way to Theatre Royal Brighton next spring, bringing its signature blend of music, fun and outrageousness. From Monday 14th April to Saturday 19th April 2025, Brighton audiences will be treated to the time-honoured experience of Richard O’Brien’s legendary rock ‘n’ roll musical as part of a fresh world tour.
Directed by Christopher Luscombe, the show promises an energetic mix of comedy, music and audience interaction, making it a guaranteed party. Featuring timeless classics like Sweet Transvestite, Dammit Janet and the iconic Time Warp, the musical is a must-see for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.

The Touring Cast
The Brighton run will feature an exciting cast, led by Adam Strong (We Will Rock You, Disney’s Aladdin), who will be stepping into the iconic role of Dr. Frank-N-Furter starting in February 2025. The cast also includes Connor Carson as Brad, Lauren Chia as Janet, Job Greuter as Riff Raff and Natasha Hoeberigs as Magenta/Usherette. The role of Columbia will be played by Jayme-Lee Zanoncelli, with Morgan Jackson taking on Rocky and Edward Bullingham as Eddie/Dr. Scott.
Adding to the lively atmosphere will be the energetic ensemble of Phantoms, played by Ryan Carter-Wilson, Arthur Janes, Hollie Nelson and Erica Wild. The production’s swing performers include Alex Hetherington and Stacey Monahan, who also serves as the dance captain. The Narrator, a beloved role that varies by city, will be announced closer to the performance dates, adding further excitement to the Brighton run.
Audiences can expect the full Rocky Horror experience, which, of course, includes an invitation to participate in the show by dressing in outrageous costumes, singing along and even joining in on some of the famous audience callbacks. It’s this interactive nature that has kept the show fresh and thrilling for over five decades.

Science Fiction
The Rocky Horror Show follows the story of Brad and Janet, two straight-laced, all-American college couple whose car breaks down near the mansion of Dr Frank-N-Furter. What starts as a simple quest for help quickly turns into a wild night of discoveries as they are introduced to Frank’s eccentric crew and thrown into a world of campy sci-fi, frothy fun and fabulous frocks.
The Rocky Horror Show first debuted in 1973, playing to an audience of just 63 people at the Royal Court’s Theatre Upstairs in London. Despite its humble beginnings, the show quickly gained popularity and went on to play at various venues, including the Kings Road Theatre and the West End’s Comedy Theatre. Over the years, it has grown into a worldwide phenomenon, seen by over 30 million people in more than 30 countries and translated into 20 languages.
In 1975, the stage production was adapted into the cult classic film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which has since become the longest-running theatrical release in cinema history. Still shown in cinemas to this day, the film has grossed over $135 million globally and continues to attract a passionate audience who gather for interactive screenings.

As Brighton prepares for this iconic show to hit the stage in April 2025, excitement is already building. But don’t forget, this show comes with a cheeky warning. It’s not for the faint-hearted and there will definitely be some rude parts. With a lively cast, legendary songs and plenty of audience participation, The Rocky Horror Show is set to deliver its boldest and most entertaining party yet at Theatre Royal Brighton.
